Parent Involvement

Anoka-Hennepin Parent Involvement promotes partnerships, based on the belief that parents are their children's most important teacher. We offer a wide variety of resources to meet the changing needs and interests of parents and families. Program activities encourage:

Family members as involved educators of their children.
School staff as they partner with families to assist students.
Community members as they collaborate with families and staff to improve education for all students.

Parenting classes and support

Parent Resource Center

The Parent Resource Center is located at the Anoka-Hennepin Schools Educational Service Center and lends library materials to parents, families, and staff in the community. Choose from over 1,000 books, CDs, or DVDs to enhance your parenting skills. Topics include parenting, special needs, homework, early childhood education, and much more. Families are welcome to browse our library online, stop in, or call.

Use the self-service check-out and return to borrow materials.
